Andrew Patrick Higgins is a writer and former military translator. He is a graduate of the Defense Language Institute and New York University. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish, his writing and translations have appeared in Dappled Things, Belt Magazine, CAN Journal, and elsewhere. A native of the Midwest and transplant to Texas, he is currently based outside of Washington DC.
