Andrew Higgins is a writer and former military translator. He is a graduate of the Defense Language Institute and the NYU Writers Workshop in Paris. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish, his writing and translations have appeared in Dappled Things, Belt Magazine, CAN Journal, and elsewhere. A native of the Midwest, he lives outside of Washington DC with his wife and their children.
